I entered into OT because I have always wanted to help others in meaningful ways. In particular, I am passionate about helping individuals maximize the function of their upper extremities; I believe hands are imperative to human function.
I graduated from VCU’s Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program in 2016 and worked in VCU’s Hand Management clinic from 2017-2020.
I can't wait to increase your function and quality of life while practicing responsible social distancing.
I pursued my career in OT after going through two major heart surgeries as a young adult, and the subsequent rehabilitation process. I wanted to learn how to help other people recovering from illness or injury overcome their circumstances. I am passionate about serving the older adult population, and enjoy maximizing their safety and ability to live at home for as long as possible.
I graduated from VCU’s Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program in 2015 during which I conducted research on home modifications. Additionally, I have 5 years of experience providing occupational therapy to individuals in a skilled nursing facility.
I love collaborating with my clients and their family members in order to maximize their quality of life and safety. I am looking forward to helping you.
